Background
Jessica Bigham is the Assistant Treasurer of the LaShauna Matthews Center, bringing together financial expertise and firsthand caregiving experience. She spent eight years as a caregiver with Consumer Direct, supporting individuals and families with compassion and reliability. Her experience as a caregiver grounds her leadership in empathy, accountability, and a deep understanding of the human impact of health care decisions.
Jessica currently works as a QuickBooks Payroll Technician, where she helps ensure accurate, transparent payroll operations. She is passionate about accountability and responsible stewardship in support of the Center’s mission to confront and eradicate racism and discrimination in health care.
Outside of her professional work, Jessica enjoys writing, crocheting, and crafting, and is a proud mother of two sons.
